Barbie Horse Adventure: Wild Horse Rescue for XBox

Barbie Horse Adventure: Wild Horse Rescue for XBox

I don’t get it.  Here is a game as clean as can be.  One of the few console games directed at young girls. Actually pretty well done (I rented it from gamefly.com) with very nice graphics.  But it appears to be out of production, at least for the XBOX.  Most stores don’t have it in stock and if they do they are charging a premium.  I know the XBOX isn’t as popular for the young but I bought mine specifically because it seemed to be the best overall system for my entire family.

Here are some articles on what blogs are good for:

Why Blog?

Publishing is one aspect of blogging. The other more common is simply subscribing to and reading blogs using a special program called a News Aggregator (AKA News readers, RSS readers)

Before anyone starts blogging themselves, they usually become a reader
of blogs.  Only after experiencing the technology do you usually "get
it" and start thinking about keeping their own blog.

It’s easy to find lists and reviews of News Aggregators but here is a quick short list of the ones I would recommend.

SqlLite

SqlLite

SqlLite is looking very good.

Don Park posts about it.  And announces:

Upcoming PHP 5 will include and use SQLLite as its default database engine

Very positive testimonial
This PHP site loves it :

…SQLite is a godsend.  It provides a very intelligent file management and indexing system, coupled with a data abstraction interface – SQL.  I imagine SQLite to be used inplace of custom flatfile systems, and custom flatfile management.  Its a small, low-level library that manages optimizes and manages file access and manipulation.

Windows CE 5.0 Supports LockFileEx(). However:

There aren’t any Pocket PC devices shipping on Windows CE 5.0, so, at this point developers must develop against Windows Mobile 2003 and Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition – both of which are based on Windows CE 4.2. Or was your question more of a "what’s new in Windows CE 5.0" ?

MSN Desktop Search

MSN Desktop Search

I recently replaced Google Desktop search with MSN Desktop Search on my computer.
I like the ability to create shortcuts to launch various files, programs and sites.

Inside Secrets of MSN Desktop Search

Here is how to reduce the space taken up by the MSN  Deskbar toolbar.
A  Summary:

Find this folder in your registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSN Apps\DB

Next,
add a DWORD value with the name of "Buttons" and change the value of
"Buttons" to "1". On your toolbar, uncheck the MSN Deskbar to clear it
from your toolbar then re-check it to add it again without the button.
