Wind River
Wind River ***** 6.7.7 Loved this movie. Great performances by Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. Bad guys get there’s.

Pig **** 0.5.7 Emotional sweet story. It goes in directions you don’t see coming. Not for Jane
News of the World ***** 1.5.3 Western starring Tom Hanks. It is slow and beautifully filmed. Emotional. Yes I cried. It has a happy ending.
Nobody **** 4.8.8 Very satisfying action/revenge/bad-ass-from-previous-life-comes-out-of-hiding movie. Not a deep plot but plenty of action. Stars Bob Odenkirk of Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul fame; 2 of my favorite series.
The Accountant ***** 1.7.7 Missed this movie when it came out. But I loved it. Starring Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick. Great action. Liked the story. Ben is on the autism spectrum and a math savant who grew up and learned to live on his own, as a forensic accountant and assassin. Guess you gotta watch the movie!
Salt *****. 3.7.4. I LOVED this movie. Took all 3 kids this afternoon for Cassidy’s birthday. I’ve never been a HUGE fan of Angelina Jolie but I really liked her in this movie. The movie is an action packed thriller with a good plot. The action is over the top just like every action flick now a days. There was no gratuitous graphic violence. Very little bad language. And no sex. Goes to show you can make a terrific action movie without that stuff. I thought it had a great ending and I can’t remember ever thinking before a movie was over that I couldn’t wait for the sequel.
Sherlock Holmes **** Not your normal Sherlock Holmes. Robert Downey plays a funnier, grittier, more action packed version. Jude Law plays Dr. Watson. One of my favorite actresses Rachel McAdams, plays his old girl friend. I bit hard to understand (english accents) and follow for the younger set (I saw it with David) but enough action to keep them interested.
Avatar ***** Great movie. Very entertaining. Reminds me of when I first saw Jurassic Park.
Wedding Daze ** NFK. This is a bizarre little film. Over the top comedy. Mildly enjoyable. I guess it is a typical Jason Biggs (American Pie) movie.
Catch and Release ***. Cassidy added this to our Netflix queue. She said it was just ok. I decided to watch it on a Sunday (during the US Open) and I actually liked it. Timothy Olyphant starred in it. Timothy isn’t the best actor but I just love his Clint Easwoodish presence. It’s the first non killer character I’ve seen him play (Deadwood, Hitman, Live Free or Die Hard).
